Call for Speakers

The 2009 Small Distributor Summit is an opportunity to connect with over 100 small distributors that are actively seeking new products and services to sell to their customer base. If you have a topic that you feel would serve this audience and are interested in presenting at the Small Distributor Summit in 2009, please submit your presentation for review by the SDS Education Review Committee. Five presenters will be chosen to attend the weekend event and host a one hour presentation.

Requirements:
Once you have determined the topic you wish to present, submit your proposal to the SDS Education Review Committee at 433 East. Monroe Avenue., Alexandria, VA 22301 or submit it via email to Dennis McGarry. Topics may include current industry trends, new business issues, new products or services that your business is offering, and more.

Please be sure to include the following with your proposal:

  1. Session title
  2. A short description of what attendees will learn in your session
  3. The name, short biography, and photo of the session presenter
  4. What you hope to accomplish/teach during you presentation at the Small Distributor Summit

The deadline for submissions is September 30, 2008. The SDS Education Review Committee will begin reviewing submissions during the first week of October.

The cost of a being an SDS Education Session Presenter is $3,000 and includes:

  1. A one hour time slot to present your educational topic
  2. A captive audience of business owners interested in learning new best practices to expand and grow their businesses
  3. One complimentary registration for the event
  4. Logo recognition on promotional materials, the event website and on-site signage
  5. The opportunity to hand-out company materials to all event attendees
  6. Full attendance lists and contact information at the close of the event
