Only Four Months to Go! Start Preparing Now

In recent months, I’ve told you that "Change Is Coming" (view that message here if you missed it) and revealed that PSDA's signature annual event has a new name in 2013: Distributor Solutions Expo (view that message here if you missed it as well). Now, having wrapped up the 2012 holiday season and kicked off a sure-to-be-busy 2013, I want to remind you that the Distributor Solutions Expo is only four months away. So, it’s time to block the days to attend and to plan how you expect to make the most of May 8-9 in Chicago with your industry colleagues. Don’t wait: Start preparing now.
PSDA's Distributor Solutions Expo is the must-attend event for distributors and manufacturers that want to partner to deliver powerful solutions for end-user customers.
Distributors: This is your premier opportunity to find manufacturers that have offerings to meet your customers' ever-changing needs.
Manufacturers: This is an extraordinary opportunity for you, as well. We’re reinventing this event to bolster what we like to call your "return on everything" (ROE). We will ensure that you have the ideal forum in which to do business and make the Distributor Solutions Expo" definitely "worth the trip" to the Windy City. To this end, our official "Exhibitor Prospectus" is in the mail to you now, but you can get details online as well – including the new exhibit schedule, booth pricing, what each booth package includes and what PSDA will provide to all exhibitors – at our recently launched Exhibitor Information page – psda.org/exhibit.
We’ve also identified the types of professionals we expect to attend the Distributor Solutions Expo (from Print and Promotional Product Distributors to Direct Marketers) and what those attendees will be looking for in Chicago (from Web-to-Print Solutions and Variable Data Printing to E-Commerce and Social Media Marketing, among many others). We want you to focus on your potential distributor partners' needs, and we’ll help you along the way to ensure PSDA's show is a great vehicle for growing your businesses. Remember, too, that the Distributor Solutions Expo and your involvement in it shouldn't be simply about products, but what those products enable. How do they drive solutions that end users need and distributors, in turn, can sell? That’s critical to your success.

In upcoming messages from me, which will be more frequent as the Expo approaches, you’ll learn how changes to the event – from relevant educational offerings to a revitalized trade show floor layout – will enhance the ROE from your participation, whether you are an exhibiting manufacturer or attending distributor.
