Print Basics

Important Event Update as of April 15, 2020

To the PSDA Community:

After significant time, energy and evaluation, the PSDA Board of Directors has decided to postpone the June Print Basics event, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Ultimately, protecting our attendees, speakers and staff is our top priority.

We recognize that the need for this type of education remains crucial for our community. With that in mind, we are exploring alternative dates and will be sharing an update with our community soon about when we plan to hold the postponed event. We appreciate everyone’s understanding, and we look forward to when we can safely gather again.

If you have any questions about the postponed Print Basics event, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at

Learn the Fundamentals From the People Who Know Print Best

A Tailored Learning Experience for Those New to Print

PSDA is excited to bring you Print Basics, a custom educational event designed to teach you the fundamentals of print and print products.

This intense program delivers a deep dive into the basics of print with online learning and a two-day, in-person educational workshop hosted in Chicago this summer. Participants will also get to tour a local print manufacturer in Chicago to see the print process first-hand and learn from experienced print pros. The event will be hosted at PSDA Headquarters, June 23-25, 2020.

Who Should Attend?

Print Basics is designed for anyone new to the print industry or anyone looking to learn more about print and print products. For example, you could be starting a new job at a print distributor or are a promotional products distributor who is looking to add print to your product line. The program is also great for CSRs, project managers, marketing teams and other roles that need to be well-versed in print.
